Writing Analytically with Readings/Cell Phones

This generation is always using their cell phones or always have them with them.  It is rare that someone would leave the house to go to school or work with out one.  The reading is showing examples of how much Americans rely on their cell phones and how much people use them.  Even though cell phones are much apart of out everyday life they are useful to have.  Such as in emergencies which is often sometimes why people buy them in the first place even though they will use them all the time and not just for emergencies.  In the reading he touches on giving cell phones to kids and how the parent's excuses is that in case of emergencies and so they know where there kid is at all times.  In that the parents are not trusting their kids that they won't get into any trouble or that they are lying to their parents about where they are going.  I do have to agree that I find it very annoying when others are on there phone if you are trying to talk to them or they are in a quiet area.  However I do own one myself and I think in the appropriate setting they are useful and can help you with emergencies.
