Benjamin DeMott

In this article he describes how the relationships between blacks and white.  He makes many references to movies that where white people have long lasting relationships with blacks.  He demonstrates that when whites are friends with blacks others will treat them differently.  

In the article he repeats himself a lot when describing certain movies and other sections of articles describing that people perceive that blacks are the dangerous ones and why white people befriend them.  When he is making examples he goes through all times of history looking at what higher authority has said about blacks and from articles that he has read.
